Summer has gone by way too fast! DJ moved here and I guess that's basically the highlight. I want to move into my own apartment on campus, but I'm not really looking forward to my 6 class schedule seeing as I usually take 4, 5 MAX. Plus I'll be applying to the school of Social Work sometime in Sept/Oct. which is exciting and scary. I'm becoming a big girl.
311 tore it up in Cleveland! Their sound was dead on and although it sometimes seems like it's just a repeat of the last show I went to, it KICKED ASS! I love taking the trip down to Cleveland too, I think it makes it that more exciting. We skipped the Detroit show for the 2nd year in a row and much like last year they got a suprisingly sweet setlist. It's mildly depressing that I used to see 3-4 shows a year but because the ticket prices are now so outrageous I can only afford one, so I like to make a weekend out of it. Anyway, they opened with the fucking TRANSISTOR INTRO for miss Jenny's birthday so I ended up hearing 4 songs for the first time which is rare anymore. I've been waiting to hear how do you feel live to decide if I actually like the song and let me just say, HELL YESSSS! How Do You Feel?, Transistor, Speak Easy, Transistor Intro, Nix Hex, Don't Stay Home, Eons, Don't Dwell, closing with FTBS and fucking SIX!!!!! were all noteworthy to me. I love 311. No matter how shitty they are now, I fucking love that band.
Ava is the most precious thing I've ever seen in my life. I love that little girl I cannot imagine what my family would be like now if she wasn't around. YAY BABIES!
Moving into GVSU the 25th and I have my own apartment this year. word. and I get to take my car/possibly a new car. The last 2 weeks of summer may be exciting!

It sucks pretty hard, coming back to the Ravines after a month at home/florida. I had a damn good break though! I did virtually nothing, besides cookie weekend and hanging out with my family-but that's pretty much what I wanted! Christmas was good, both of them. I loved giving everyone their gifts, because I knew they were going to love them. I had pretty much no money to spend on anyone, but I figured out how to make good cheap gifts. It barely snowed the entire break...but it rained on Christmas! Weird, there's been a heatwave for awhile and it is nice!
I got to see the beautiful Ava a few times, and JAY! Ava is working on getting bigger, and Jay is just a BIG OL BOY! I saw him crawl-real crawl-for the first time when I was over there. I'm so proud. He's such a character. :) Ava is still teeny tiny, but I used to be able to hold her for an hour and feel no pain, now it's like a half hour...so she's got to be gettin bigger! She's so precious. How lucky am I to have a perfect, healthy, happy, beautiful niece AND nephew?! It's the best.
I never ended up working, because Colleen pretty much sucks. I tried getting in touch with her but since she's on maternity leave, it was pretty much impossible to get a hold of her at the pool. I know she got the note I gave her and I know she got it WELL before my break, but whateva. I'm just gonna have to really work on finding a better job for this summer. In fact, I'm pretty positive I'm gonna work at Frozen Custard and then another place too...We'll see where.
NOW, to get to the bulk, and best part of my winter break... FLORIDA!
Thurs. December 29: My flight left at 3:10 pm, and luckily the weather and everything cooperated. We got to Jacksonville about 15 minutes early and I found my De Jota in our usual spot. We stopped by Maggianno's on the way home to get Lori and Hal's gift card before going home to Coconut Ave and opening presents. :) ( I got... )I'm a very pleased girl. He loved all of his presents, I went a little nuts but hey what can ya do. The scrapbook came out really good too and apparently he loves it. :) We watched Nick at Night for a while with Lori and fell asleep.
Fri. December 30: DJ has fridays off, so we slept in and looked at OLD OLD OOOOLD pictures hehehhe. DJ had a "NOT DA MAMA!!!" shirt. aaaaaaaaaaahahaha. Eventually we got ready and went downtown and to the beach for a little bit. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL outside. Low 60's breezy and sunny. After we hung out with Justin and Geoff for a little while, we headed to the beach, opened up the back of the Jimmy, put on some Incubus and sat out there for a couple hours. We went back to Geoff's for...icecream...and then to YOMATO for dinner. MY GOD I love this restaraunt! Japanese food is so fucking delicious, it might be a new favorite. When we got back home, Amanda was over so we hung out with her and DJ's mom for awhile and I gave amanda her xmas gift. Man, I love DJ's family. I think we went over to Mike's too for awhile.
Sat. December 31: After finally making it out of St. Augustine, we headed to Oviedo for NYE. DJ's Grandma, Aunt Shelly and Aunt Kerri met us for lunch... MORE SWEET FAMILY MEMBERS! They're great, his grandma is absolutely adorable. She got Amanda, Sarah and I these little calenders from Cracker Barrell with a picture of a doll above the calender part. hehehe. We went to kill time at the Oviedo mall and I got to see the infamous tire tracks from DJ and Chris' bikes. After a while, we went over to Johnny and Chris' apartment, they were still painting and OF COURSE!!! we watched Incubus-The Morning View Sessions. There has only been ONE time that I have gone to that apartment and that DVD wasn't on...and it was because they were playing HALO. hahahah so we got showers and got ready while they painted, bought jack and I finally got to experience Moe's. Delicious, yes, but a bit overrated by all of those guys. I enjoyed my Triple Lindy but the guacamole kinda sucked. Anyways, we went back to chris and johnny's had some drinks and then went to some guy's house for the rest of the night-pretty much. ( It was pretty fun... ) It was kinda funny, mostly ALL people DJ and Chris went to highschool with AND people that are still in HS. So we stayed until about 12:30 then went back to Chris and Johnny's. Saw some of the most ridiculous porn in the world and went to sleep around 4.
Sun. January 1: For the second year in the row, I got to spend the first and last moments of the year with my best budd-d. YAY! We woke up pretty early, but waited until Chris left for work to head back to St. Augustine. Once we got to Daytona, like usual, we took A1A so we could drive along the water:). He knows just how to make me happy. Later that night we went to Chris' to hang out and then went to the beach on our way home. But check out Lola! ( She can sit like a human. )
Mon. January 2: DJ and Mr. Hal had to work so I hung out with DJ's mom and Amanda all day. We were lazy until like 1-then went to St. Augustine and had CHINESE food for lunch :) They're so sweet, and hilarious. We had a good time. After we chowed the fuck down we came back home and watched the Skeleton Key while we waited for our mens to get home from work. When they did, we ate some dinner and watched football. I started reading A Million Little Pieces so I didn't fall asleep during the game hehehehe
Tues. January 3: DJ had to work:( and so did everyone at his house. I stayed at home, did his laundry, cleaned the bathroom and hung out with Winston. He and I got pretty close! It was beautiful this day too, so I took my book and sat out in the sun to read for an hour. DJ didn't get home till like 7, and neither did anyone else! It sucked. We ate dinner and I can't remember if we went anywhere...I think this was the Florida State game, so we went to Chris' to watch with him and amanda...and sean and jimmy. Florida State lost so of course DJ was sad, but it was fun. We drove back to the marsh in the back of his neighborhood and the sky was SO ridiculously clear. Had some icecream and then went back home where I fell asleep, of course.
Wed. January 4: Did pretty much the same thing as the day before! It was so nice out, so I read outside for about 2 hours. It was also... THE ROSE BOWL! DJ and I went to Turn 4 Wings to watch the pregame and eat wings, then we went over to Amanda's to watch the game with her and Chris.
Thurs. Januray 5: DJ only works till about 11:30 on Thursdays, THANK GOD! I layed around in bed for a few hours with Winston before getting ready. ( Heres the kitty! ) When DJ got home, we went and got lunch at Firehouse subs and took it down to the beach. It was beautiful... AGAIN! We popped open the back of the jimmy, listened to 311 this time until the ipod died, ate our lunch and snuggled. ( I LOVE it here. )DJ said he was going to get his hair cut after the new year, so I talked him into getting it done before I left. Well actually, all I did was say "Hey! Let's go cut your hair!" and he said "Okay!" We went to Fantastic Sam's and it got CHOPPED the hell off. Looks good though :) We visited his mom at work and suprised her with the short hair, and then went to talk to his stepmom for a while. After visiting with Sherry, we went by Chris' and watched some tv with him and then over to Geoff's to hang out with and say goodbye to him and Justin and Mike.
Fri. January 6: We had the house to ourselves again, got ready and headed to Jacksonville beach. We left St. Augustine at around 2, got to Jax beach and found a MOE'S for lunch. We checked into our hotel, which was right on the beach :) and sat out on the beach for awhile. ( Our view & beach. ) The entire hotel was somewhat ghetto-looking, but the room was actually really nice. and BIG! We had a mini bar, fridge, microwave and a balchony that wasn't supposed to have a ocean view, but did. It was pretty cool out on the beach, so we came inside and watched TV thinking we were gonna meet lori and hal for dinner. That didn't work out, so we cracked open the jack and icecream. We watched tv and cuddled in a daze for awhile and we both just kept saying how BADLY we felt like munchin' out-but we couldn't move. After an hour or fucking 2, we got up and went to walgreens. Never set the 2 of us loose in aisles full of food at a time like this! We went back with a family size bag of Scoops, Salsa con Queso, White Cheddar Pringles, 2 liter diet pepsi, a bag of strawberries and cream hershey kisses[on sale for 50 cents!], a bag of hersheys miniatures mix[reeses,mr goodbar, krackel, kisses, etc. 50 cents!], and a bag of Kit Kat bites. We came back to the room and ( MUNCHED the hell out )Twas fun.
Sat. January 7: I woke up at around 7:20, I hadn't slept good all night. The night before I leave is ALWAYS like this for me, because I guess I don't want to sleep and miss anything! So I went out on our balchony and watched( the sun come up. )IT was beautiful. After awhile, DJ woke up and we went to downtown Jacksonville. We got there and walked around River Landing...ate lunch in the food court, and then started exploring. We did some investigating and made it to the roof of a hotel by venturing through no tresspassing and hidden stairwells. IT WAS FUN! Then we made it inside of the hotel, this giant enormous fancy Hyatt. We got a nice view of the city from up there though:) ( Jacksonville. )
So, after we walked around downtown some more, it was time to head to the airport:( All things considered, I can definately safe to say this was the best trip ever. The 10 days didn't even fly by! It actually felt like we had a nice long 10 days together, the time USUALLY goes by so fast. But we had a blast. Even though it's impossible, we tried to have the most painless goodbye we could. It wasn't as bad as I was anticipating but goddamn does it suck to be back at school. Our tentative plan is to move DJ up here during my spring break. I fly down March 3 or probably 4, stay in St. Augustine for some days and help him pack up and hang out, then eventually start the drive back to Michigan. How much FUN will that be?! So, hopefully he's able to find a job and start the week after SB. That would just be way too great.
This semester should be...alright I guess. It's been awhile since I had class everyday, but I'll live. I don't have a job so it makes sense. My professors are alright, I don't have any that I love yet, like I did last semester...but I'm shooting for all A's and B's again. hahaha sad I know, but the only thing that I usually get less than a B in is math and well...I don't have any math. dayuuuuuum was this a good semester! It's mostly all thanks to dropping statistics, and thank god I did!
My exams and final grades look like this:
Biology: Exam- 100%, Overall-B+
Sociology: Exam- 97%, Overall- B+
Social Work: Exam- 100%, Overall- A
I'm pumped:) and having an exceptional day! I leave for Florida in 10 days and it's only been a week since DJ left. We've never had so little time between seeing eachother hahahahaha. Its great, I can't wait to give him all his christmas presents and open them on the BEACH! It's not gonna be really warm or anything, but we'll go to the beach at any time...and opening christmas presents is a perfect opportunity! I got my dad an AWESOME John Lennon book for his birthday and I think I'm just gonna give him his bday and christmas gifts all on christmas eve because I'm too excited.
I have $119.86 in my checking account that came from NOWHERE! It's crazy, all of a sudden on a statement I had this deposit that I never made because I have no money, my parents didn't make and they're the only other people that access my account and the bank said it's not interest because it's too much. So that's pretty awesome, I have $120 more than I should and that covers...DJ's birthday haha.
Last weekend was awesome, DJ came up on Saturday and we went to his company christmas party and he met little Ava. She's grown an inch and gained a pound! So she's ALMOST 7 pounds, hehehe so tiny. She's gonna be tall though. It was pretty hilarious, DJ showed up still REAKING like alcohol from his bday the night before, and actually almost missed his flight. He had to run through the airport to make it as they were making final boarding calls. He slept for 45 minutes, tried to pack at 6:00am when he was still drunk and all he managed to bring was his dress pants, shirt & socks, 3 pairs of boxers (for 1 day hahahaha), his toothbrush and deodorant and the clothes he'd worn to the bar the night before. I don't think he'll be making fun of me for starting to pack 2 days early anymore! But we had alot of fun :)
I drove back to gvsu sunday, took 2 finals on monday and drove back home on monday night. Every single night this past week I baked cookies with my mom. It was fun though! This weekend was cookie baking weekend which is ALWAYS tons o fun. I love Uncle Pat and he gave me some true, yet so very inappropriate, insights on boys. hahhahahahaha oh.my.god. But I missed Angela's family alot! Over the summer her house is like my second home, and I practically haven't been there since the summer! It's a bummer, school drags me away :(

Thanksgiving was grand...being back at school is not one bit. Our downstairs stinks like a foot again because jessica just CANNOT remove herself from the couch.
Dance Troupe show is this weekend! :) I guess that's exciting, once hell week is over it is REALLY exciting. Next weekend I'll be going home to spend 1 goddamn day with DJ and celebrate his bday. At least it's a free trip. AND I have only have 2 finals during finals week, both of which are on MONDAY! So I get to come home Monday the 12th :)
Just wanted to say my niece is beautiful. SO TINY! So adorable.

Being home was fun:) I want to go back.
I got to see my baby Jay and Ruca's new place. It was great! I love that baby.
I also got to see Angela and Ann who I always miss dearly.
Went to Kohls and spent $70 worth of store credits...I forgot how fun it was to buy brand new things!
Thanksgiving is just a week and a half away, I'm mucho excitamente!
In bad news-DJ's business trip was changed to the 10th. So now he won't be here on his actual birthday and will actually only be here for 24 hours. Lisa's a trifling whore. It's also possible that significant others are not allowed to the stupid Christmas party. At least like 3 days after that I'll be driving myself home for Christmas break! and 2 weeks later I'll be spending 10 days in Florida.
I always have more things to look forward to than are actually happening. bummer?

I'm probably about to do relatively awful on this bio exam I'm taking in a half hour, but for some reason I've had the HARDEST time getting myself to study today...and last night. I did wake up and was on a roll for about 2 hours, but then it just kinda tapered off. I started studying at 3, fell asleep at around 3:45 till 4:15 and have been studying since then. I don't feel like doing a damn thing. Get me back to St. Augustine!
My trip to Florida was...awesome to say the least. I left at 6:30am Wednesday morning(long story)and got there at Noon. Tuesday was a NIGHTMARE. I am so incredibly grateful for all Kelly has done for me making sure I got to and from Florida! Us Belfontane girls stick together:)
So I finally got there on Wednesday and went to Autopics with DJ and watched him work. We had his mom's leftover stuffed shells for lunch. OMG. SO GOOD. I can't even believe how good(meaning great abundance)I ate while down there. Wowee. So it was great to finally meet and experience fuckin' Toni and all the other drama at that office. We got home and ate dinner with his mom, stepdad and Amanda and just hung out the rest of the night.
Thursday DJ went into work and I stayed home alone with Winson! Most of the 4 hours he was at work I spent going back and forth to the bowl of Halloween candy and petting Winston. My hair dryer almost electrocuted me and it's no longer functioning, and I also flooded their bathroom with about 1/4 inch of water because the shower curtain wasn't closed all the way and I didn't notice until AFTER my super long shower. DJ finally got home and we went to the beach, though it was INCREDIBLY WINDY. It was pretty cool out too, but we still hung out on the beach for an hour or so and drove through downtown St. Augustine again then went over to see Justin and Lola! Went back to DJ's and ate more of his mom's leftover stuffed shells for dinner. DJ's stepdad found THE BEST letter in a stolen recovery car from a bitch in jail. Oh my god I can't wait to get copies of that!
Friday we went to DJ's stepmom's house so I could finally meet her! We hung out there for a couple hours before heading to the beach again. But it was SO UNBELIEVABLY windy we were only there for like 20 minutes. I decided we should cook for his mommy and stepdad(good lord I love them!) so we went to Publix and bought a ton of food. DJ grilled steaks, I made the salad and roasted potatoes. I ate steak without Ketchup! I told him I'd do it, so I did. We also bought Dibs(Bite-sized icecream, BEST INVENTION EVER!) and rented Spanglish...not what I was expecting but it was okay I guess. I did however fall asleep and miss the end so I had to watch it the next morning. I suck.
Saturday we were incredibly lazy and watched college football and movies with his mom pretty much ALL day. Until we finally got ready and went to Justin's again before PF CHANGS!!!!! My my my, was it delicious. DJ, his mom, stepdad and I went all the fuck out! 2 appetizers, shared our meals and 2 deserts! We sat behind a booth full of gay guys so we had tons of entertainment the whole dinner. After dinner we went back to the house and hung out for the rest of the night.
Sunday we spent the entire day in downtown St. Augustine. :) It's such a cute old fashioned city. Alot of the buildings and the brick streets are from the 1700's-really well kept and old fashioned looking. The old drugstore was the best. They'd saved all these RX drugs, old remedies, cokes, pencils, the cash register, TONS of stuff from when the drug store owners passed away and the city saved the drug store...so much of the old original stuff, it was so cool. We went in a fudge shop and shared the most amazing rice krispie treat ever. I took DJ to dinner at Tavern on the Bay and we sat outside on the balcony right across from the water, all by ourselves. Went back to his house and hung out with his family some more and ate tons of halloween cookies and candy. I've been SUCH a GREAT fatass this past week!!! It's been great.( Of course, Pictures! )
My flight left at 9:30 on Monday. After a 8 hours of being in planes and airports it felt SO good to be home, even if home was the Ravines. Beautiful Kelly picked me up and I got home at like 5:20, just in time to go to class!
I was welcomed home by a delicious package from my sweetheart mother. Homemade cookies, and little bags of Halloween candy for Megan and I! I cannot wait to go home on Friday. 2 wonderful weekends in a row, I love it. I get my own bed at night! No stinky roommate. Real food. Mi Familia. Mis amigos! Ruca and baby JAY! I can't wait to see my little baby, I'm sure he's so huge by now.
I'm so ready to be home!

FINALLY! A ticket has been bought. I'm going to Florida next Tuesday-Monday. That's right! I get 6 days instead of 4. Fucking airlines are so annoying and confusing, it was the cheapest way. I'll miss each of my classes, but only 1 class so it's not a big deal.
Many things to look forward to! Including, but not exclusive to............
-Laying on the beach, alot.
-Getting backrubs on the beach, alot.
-Going to downtown Jacksonville
-My date night:: DJ cooks for me, and we rent Saw.
-DJ's date night:: I take DJ out to his favorite restaraunt and we see Saw II.
-Watching DJ surf
-Dress up for Halloween?
-PF Changs with Lori, Hal and Amanda. FOR SURE this time. Reservations are made!
-Going to the Autopics office:)
-Jax beach
-Watch DJ/Mike jam
-Cuddle
-Eating icecream
-Spending 6 days with my best friend:)
BIG PLUS!!! I just got a 90% on my bio midterm, a 90% on my sociology midterm and a 100% on my Social work midterm!!! I studied so increadibly hard for each one of these, so I'm so thrilled. I never purchased my sociology book and it was completely needed, but I somehow figured it out and it was quite a relief to get that grade back!!! I'm giving myself a reward...spending 6 days in Florida with my boo, on the beach. God, that's so great. I dropped statistics because, in short, my professor was a redneck bitch and I hated her. I got a 92% on the first SPSS project, but I would've failed the tests, so at least I'm not paying to watch my gpa drop.
School is going good :) Dance is going good :) Pretty much everything is going good!
Except this living situation...still doing everything to change this little problem. It's not just Jessica anymore. If we're not woken up to Vivian singing Beyonce or Mariah Carey at the top of her lungs in the shower or the hallway, it's by one of her friends CALLING OUR APARTMENT AT 8am. You have roommates. You also have a cellphone. BLAH! Whateva.
I kind of want to go see 311 in Toronto.
Besides the fact that I'm stranded in west Michigan, it's the day before the dance troupe show which means it's the night of rehearsal. sad :(
I however am very glad that I'm no longer obsessed with seeing 311. I'll see them again on 311 day and millions of times after then. Thinking about the Cleveland show just kinda grosses me out anyways.

How funny is this????!
I think it's absolutely HILARIOUS. I am laughing. Seeing that, cheered up my week.
This week has pretty much sucked. I've been sick (thanks to my 2 other roommates that were sick before me) and the highs were 90 and 50 degrees in the same week. Where the hell else would that happen?! Thanks alot Michigan, that also contributed greatly to my sickness. I also just ate a bunch of whoppers which are now making me nauseous. Whoppers the chocolate, not from BK. I'm enjoying the cooler weather, but how come theres never a smooth, nice transition into fall?? One day I'm sweating my ass off walking in capri's and a tank top to class and the next I have to wear jeans a hoodie and clogs and I am STILL FREEZING! It makes no mother lovin' sense. But anyways, I've have a lazy, relaxing weekend thus far. I have 3 midterms this week I should've at least started looking over stuff for, but I obviously have not.
I am so tired of hearing footgirl hack up her lungs.
Not only have I been sick and fucking lazy all week, DJ has negative dollars in his checking account which was supposed to buy me a plane ticket which has now jumped up to $412. WHAT IN THE HELL?! Shouldn't ticket prices go down as the date approaches so as to sell those tickets? So I now have no idea what we're going to do about that. He's awfully confident that I'll still be down there, but I am not. I guess we'll just see! Which SUCKS. I'm sure it'll either be the last weeked in October, or first in November but goddammit! Let me get a plane ticket! Okay, it's freezing. Time to curl back up in my bed.

I am stuck in the Ravines alone, with foot girl. I seriously don't think one person has EVER annoyed, frustrated and driven me so crazy as much as she has in the past month. I just cleaned the bathroom (because vivian cleaned ONLY the counter and left all the cleaning supplies out on it. what?! why!) and the kitchen and kitchen floor. The living room smells so awful right now, I don't think I can go downstairs for the rest of the day. She seriously has the worst hygeine of any person I've ever met, and I have to fucking live with her. Anyways, Megan went away for the weekend and so did Viv.
I'M TRAPPED WITH HER!
The only thing that will be awesome is tomorrow when she works from like 9am to 6pm. Aww Heck yes!
Next year it will be only Megan and I again. Ahhhh, a nice place to live! I long for it so.
It is SO COLD! It was in the 30's last night, and I kept the bedroom window open just because it's such a hassle to take the fan out. I left the fan off, but DAYUUUUM was it COLD! It's finally starting to warm up in here, but I had to clean just to warm my body up! Hopefully foot is getting ready to go somewhere right now. Oh another fucked up thing-she REFUSED to sign our roommate agreement. ummmmmmm are you serious? Why are you living with people if you can't sign a paper that states we'll respect eachother and help out with chores, etc.etc. !?!?!?!!!! Jesus fucking keeeeeyreighst. My friend in my bio lab burned me the new Co&Cam CD!! I went to buy it last weekend, but Target was all out:( Good thing, I saved myself some money because I have NONE! DJ is the most expensive boyfriend there is, and I'm the most expensive girlfriend there is. We figured out, by the end of this year we'll have spent about $2,200 on ONLY TRANSPORTATION to see eachother. That doesn't count the meals, hotels etc.etc. as well. I have no idea where ANY of that came from on my behalf. At least I know it's completely worth it.

hehehehehhee! We obviously went to go visit Jay and Erica while we were home. I love how much DJ and Erica like eachother, and how much Jay loves DJ. :) He's getting so big and is even walking around in one of those toy roller things. He's 4 months old!!! That's my man. So advanced!
We went to visit those 2 after we picniced at Brandenburg park. It was such a BEAUTIFUL fucking day. Breezy and just a little cool...perfect for eating Jimmy John's and swinging on swings. It was also so nice to get up every morning and sit out on the swing on our porch with Taylor while deej drank his coffee. The only thing that sucked was the PF Chang's shit! We were depressed. But we ate at this delicious Italian place. We went grocery shopping and cooked for my family on Sunday...well DJ made hummus and then watched Football and Golf with my dad. That's also how Saturday went! Watched football with chew alot. Everyone loves DJ so much though, it's wonderful! Obviously though, what's not to love?
hahahahaha Petey and Pablo in full affect on that last one. Woke up at 4:30am yesterday to go to the airport. Early flights blow, but the extra night was worth it.
Mom and Dad drove me back to GVSU and we got SO much food from Meijer. I have so much food all I've done for the past 2 days is fucking eat just because I can! I'm so glad the weather is cooling off. Walking to class and not being drenched in sweat when you arrive is GREAT! Really, you take it for granted!
I have a paper due on Thursday for SW 150. I just started it, and have pretty much the base of what I need to finish done. I don't have class until 6pm tomorrow so my plan is just to hang out and finish it. Get it done before class, look over it after dance and make any last minute changes then go to bed!
I need to hit the hay now, I'm still exhausted.

I'm at home!
Yes, it makes me nuts too but I was really needin' to get out of Ravines C30. Jessica is almost the worst roommate I could get. She makes frozen pizza 2-3 times a day and reuses the same cookie sheet without washing it for DAYS. Oh wait, she doesn't even wash it, I do. Her dishes all pile up on the sink, the counter, the living room floor, she showers but puts on the same clothes and sleeps in her clothes. Thus, she stinks like a dirty sock. This girl is also 24 YEARS OLD! Shouldn't you know how to take care of yourself by then? Especially when you've been on your own for 3 years? It just blows my mind. She also has her computer/desk in the living room because she stays up all night and Vivian didn't want her to keep her awake...we all agreed THAT was okay but now she's SLEEPING ON OUR COUCH ALL DAY LONG. She will fall asleep there and night and stay sleeping until 3 or 4 pm. Pretty much every day. So now, our couch smells like a foot. and undoubtedly the cute quilt Meg and I just got to cover the nasty couch smells like a dirt foot too. We HAVE to say something to her soon, and we will. It can't go on!
Besides that, the Ravines still aren't so bad. Vivian is still cool it's just fucking Jessica. If it were only Meg and I in there it'd be frickin' sweet. However, it is not

First week of classes were good, execept that I sat through the wrong Stats class. Well, it was the right class (STA 215), wrong professor! haha yeah, it was pretty awesome on my behalf. but besides wasting that hour and 15 minutes of my life, I really really like all my other professors and the classes don't seem real bad. That's another good thing about GVSU, I've never really had a professor I HATED.
I went to Children's yesterday...figured since I was home I might as well! Not too many kids came down though. Only about 4 or 5 and this one boy just stayed down there the ENTIRE time and I had to babysit him. I am not a babysitter, I am a volunteer. But whateva, it was still good. I also went to see Erica and Jay!!! He gets more precious by the minute. He was feelin kindy punky at first but after he took a nap he was pretty cheered up and he just has the biggest smile on his face like all the time! I love it. Nothin' better than babies! Well, almost nothing.
Hopefully everything works out easily for me to come home on September 22. He doesn't leave until Monday morning, so mom is going to have to drive me the WHOLE way back to GVSU which she is a bit pissed about. I hope I can at least get a ride to MSU with Megan and Matt...or if someone lives in the metro detroit area and would like to go home on Thursday September 22, let me know! hahahha right. Anyways, it's gonna be a great time, I'm so excited. SOOOOO GLAYUD I didn't have to wait until Halloween to see him again! It's way too far.

Today I believe John and I are going over to Ann's for a BBQ where her adorable little cousins will be in attendance and then I'm going to Angela's for a bday celebration with her family. woohoo! I hope we get in some rousing games of volleyball during that time!

Ahhh, the first day of Classes! I guess I should say class. I am still the shit at scheduling and only have 1 class on Monday and Wednesday and Zero classes on Fridays. yes! I really liked my class today though. Well, the professor. She was silly and just one of those teachers that really identifies with her students. I like those, and I liked her too. I have 4 classes tomorrow, so we'll see how the rest of them go.
I was waiting to see if I actually needed any of my books, but I'm thinking I am. I might just be nervous if I didn't buy them all. My biology professor did say we need both books (for lecture and lab) and I KNOW I'll need math and then I just figured I would probably enjoy my Social Work class so I might as well get the book. I didn't get my sociology book, I guess I'll wait and see what the professor says tomorrow. Although by his last name I'm guessing he's Asian, but as long as he's not straight outta Asia I'm sure I'll be able to understand him. Anyway, I spend $242 on 4 books and I still need another. Better than the $400 last semester!!
Moving in was good! Our new roommates are really nice and we all get along well :) It's nice having another room to go to and a kitchen, but it would've been FRICKIN SWEET if it was only Meg and I in this place. Jessica and Vivian are very cool though! Our room is very nicely decorated, as always...but downstairs is a major problem. Very bland, boring, old looking, and plain! One whole wall is a window, and that I like alot. Nice view of the woods/Ravine! Our bunk beds are mighty squeaky and uncomfortable...since I forgot my eggcrate padding it's like 832499x more incomfortable, but I'm getting that this weekend. PS. I'm going home this weekend for Labor Day, until TUESDAY (probably)afternoon/evening! I'm so glad meggie's boyfriend is such a nice man and will let me hitch a ride to state with them so my parents can pick me up from there.
Speaking of which, I'm buying DJ a plane ticket to come to Detroit September 22-25. MY MOM put the idea in my head and wants to help! We were eating at olive garden with MelissaandEric, DebbieandKen, MeganandMatt, FrankandLenora, and then just me. My mom says to me, "Theres someone missing here laura!!" and begins telling me if she were rich she'd buy DJ a plane ticket to come here for the long weekend. Then it goes on and we decide we'll split a plane ticket for DJ to come up here! This weekend didn't work so September 22 he'll be here. There goes another $250!!!:\ And again Megan says they'll go to State that weekend so I can hitch a ride to MSU, have mom and DJ pick me up then spend the weekend at home with DJ. Megan and Matt have been way to good to me this way:) I will forever be in debt to both of you. THIS IS THE BEST! 5 times in 5 months. That may seem like nothing to most of you, but that is like an unheard of amount of time for us. Theres nothing more I could ask for, except for him to already live here...obviously. But we'll see eachother 5 more times before the year is over and then he'll be moving here in February. :):):):)
I can't wait for my trip in December/January. We're gonna have our own little Christmas, go to the beach everyday, go to PF Changs with Laurie and Hal, hang out, party together on NYE agian... I have to stop, it's really far away but I'm so excited.
I applied for 2 jobs since I've been here. 2 jobs that would be THE BEST to have. One is at the Ravines front desk which is directly accross from our apartment. Literally about 15 steps from our door. I also applied for the Fieldhouse front desk. They were looking for people to work 6:15-9:15am (yes, so early but I won't be at class and I'm so desperate for a job), 9:15pm-12:15am and weekends. Depending on Dance Troupe, that late one would be the shit. I just really hope I get one, I've been trying dammit!
I have to leave to meet Meg like right now, so we can go hang out with Kelly and Alicia:)

Today's my last day volunteering at Children's :( I hope (but at the same time I don't) that Gabe is down in the playroom again. His sister has been in the hospital since I started this summer and he's so cute/fun to have down there. But for the family's sake I really hope she's been able to go home. I'm thinking about volunteering on Christmas day though, they probably really need volunteers around that time. I'll have to get back in touch with Pat/Erin when it gets closer. Maybe they're having some kind of Christmas party and will need volunteers, that would be fun.
I just spent $296.41 on a NWA plane ticket for New Year's Eve time. NWA mechanics had better be done with their damn strike by then. I don't need any malfunctions, cancellations or delays thank you. So I'll be in St. Augustine Thursday December 29, 2005-Saturday January 7, 2006. HOORAY! Mom and dad are only going to give me money for Christmas and that's what I want any other family member that would give me something to do as well because I need to refill my checking account. And have spending money while I'm there. We've already planned to hit up the PF Changs in Jacksonville after my flight lands :) It's so far away but dammit, I'm ready for it already. DJ's still flying me down Thurs. October 27-Mon. October 31 and he'll be here for his birthday and company christmas party Dec. 9-11. and then he'll be moved up here in February if all goes correctly!!!!!! GREAT JOY!
I finally feel caught up on sleep. I didn't really miss any this past week like DJ and Justin did, I just didn't get any good sleep by sleeping in hotels every night. However it was SO worth it. I've just been pooped and moping around since Friday afternoon, for some reason this was the hardest goodbye ever. I always know when I'm going to see him again and that usually makes it easIER for me to deal with it, but for some reason I could barely hold back tears this time. We had an awesome time though...
Saturday: DJ and Justin finally made it here at around 11:30am, after leaving at 2pm on Friday and ending up in South Carolina for about 2 hours. I met up with them in the parking lot of the bank so they could follow me to my house and I just felt the biggest feeling of relief once I pulled up and saw him there. I took them to meet my parents and then we headed to White Castle because them boys love their sliders. We checked Justin into his hotel and went to ours around 3, DJ PASSED the hell OUT until 7 and woke up thinking it was 7am hehehe. I dragged our asses out of bed so we could go to Meijer and get groceries for our kitchen.
Sunday: Drove down 8 Mile Rd. listening to Eminem "on the way" to my house for a family BBQ. DJ met Mom and Dad, John, Ann, Matt, Uncle Roger, Mary, Grandma, Lindsay and Aunt Julie and was a huge hit if I do say so myself! Everyone kept telling me what a cute, nice boy he is...as if I wasn't already aware. I still haven't heard the end of how much my mom loves him! Anytime she asks/I say anything about DJ she goes "Man do I like that boy! I LIKE HIM!!!". She even apologized for freaking out about my trip in June and said she should've known better. :) duh. We spent the whole day there, walked to FC to see Er and then went back to Justin's hotel to hang out with him and Caitlyn. Caitlyn and I left for a bit and returned with a giant banana, handcuffs, bites for DJ and enormous heart shaped shades. hahahha, long story I guess.
Monday: After we woke up and got ready we headed to Justin's hotel and then to downtown Detroit. We walked around Hart Plaza, Comerica Park, watched bums Ford Field, St Andrews/The Shelter and various other places that an avid Eminem fan would enjoy. They found out the Tigers were playing the Red Sox that night so I bought DJ a ticket and he and Justin went to the game that night. I came home, watched Hitch with mom lindsay aunt julie and chew. I loved knowing I got to sleep and then wake up and spend the day with deej.
Tuesday: Woke up real early and excited so I went to Meijer and bought myself and DJ copies of Don't Tread on Me. Which I still LOVE. Erin Caitlyn and I waited forever for the boys to get here, then we ventured off to CLEVELAND! I love going to see 311 in Cleveland. I think we were all a bit let down though. We'd been hearing about how Nick had hyped up the Cleveland show at the Cincy and Cbus shows, and being that it was 8/16, the 15th anniversary tour, realease of DTOM and ummm... CLEVELAND!!!!!, we all had pretty high expectations. First of all, Papa Roach practically ruined our night. I couldn't believe the outright disrespect for everyone, even their own fans, they were encouraging. The singer even yelled "Theres only been one fight tonight, pussies!!! Get some blood in that pit!!!" Then continued to preach his love for 311, since Music. uhhhh huh, right. So the crowd was just all frat boy meat heads beating the shit out of everyone. We were all pretty much ready to leave before 311 came on stage. We moved to a better looking area and the crowd seemed to get better once 311 started. The setlist....I expected better, but I was happy to hear some songs.

Why are the sets so damn short this tour? I was VERY excited to hear SHH, FTBS and WWIT again... Hive was the shit and Solar Flare and Welcome I liked alot too. But I actually think I would've enjoyed the Detroit show more! yeah. Never thought I'd hear myself say that. After the show, we got lost, as we did everytime we went anywhere and passed out once we made it back.
Wednesday: Went to Cedar Point and met up with Ann and Angela :) Went on Power Tower, Top Thrill Dragster, Magnum, Gemini, Mantis, and Raptor. Was that it?? The lines were pretty bad and no one felt like waiitng for Millenium Force after we waited 2 hours for the Dragster. It was tons of fun :) I love CP. I love DJ. I love Ann Erin Angela and Justin. So, it was a good time. We got lost again on the way to the hotel (Caitlyn is such a good driver!) and Justin Caitlyn and DJ were all on eachothers last nerve, so we took some seperate time from eachother and showered, etc etc. Walked to Wal Mart for food and Caitlyn and I watched Discovery Health Channel for hours while the guys had their alone time.
Thursday: Woke up and left for home. We all decided it would be in everyone's best interest for me to sit shotty and be navigator hahahaha. Caitlyn was getting to everyone, but I got us home successfully... we didn't get lost! or in an accident! It was a happy goodbye though once she dropped us at my house. Justin went back to his hotel and DJ and i hung out at my house until he and Megan and I went to go see Erica and Jaybird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):) We didn't get to stay for long, which sucked but whatever.

We drove through New Baltimore, walked around the park/beach(hahhahahaa) and then went back to their hotel room to hang out with Justin for the rest of the night. It was our last night and it was sad :( we goofed around and made the best of it though.
Friday: We woke up at around 9:30 and they had to be checked out by noon. :( I've never had such a hard time saying goodbye to anyone before...I don't know what made it so hard this time but it sucked. We finally let go and they took off for their 18 hour ride and I spent the rest of my Friday moping. I miss him and I hate long distance so fucking much.
